Text	Federal Union, No. 2,703, which is a subordinate organization of the American Federation of Labor, met last evening at No. 71 West Lake street and discussed the subject: “The Saturday Half-Holiday and How to Get it.” …... ... An intimation that increased drunkenness would be the principal result of the charges was untrue. Everybody of any observation knew that the laboring population turned out en masse Sunday to the parks and the base-ball games. There was no “Blud Monday” in this country as there was in England, and if a Saturday half-holiday were gained ll the base-ball playing, etc., that went on Sunday would take place Saturday.
