Text | Pittsburgh voted against McKnight’s expulsion and the ex-president stood by that club in the Barkley case from beginning to end. It is will known that the Pittsburg Club last fall seriously entertained a proposition to enter the League and that some of the stockholders have never given up the idea. The decision in the Barkley case caused an unpleasant feeling between the other club members, and it is claimed that Pittsburg is now an unwilling member of the Association and that it will seek and eagerly accept an offer to jump from its unpleasant surroundings into the fold of the League. |
