Text | Suspicious Gotham talks loudly of a “sale” in the Atlantic-Mutual game of the 9th instant. The gamblers in the late village of Tweed seem to think that the Mutuals have the power to win and lose at pleasure. The only evidences of the sale were the weak batting of the Mutes and the superb batting and fielding of the Atlantics. |
