Text	Our attention has been called to the fact that Larkin's [of the Hartfords] delivery yesterday was illegal—being purely a throw from above the hip. Perhaps Captain Addy will watch it to-day. Should such be the case, he owed it to the club to see that the young man's hand is held below the hip. 'Tis bad enough to be beaten, but it is provoking to have an umpire and illegal pitching help to do it.
