Text | The Washingtons have protested the recent eleven-inning game played at Detroit. Two balls had been used. One ball was knocked foul over the fence when the Detroits were at the bat. The other old ball Getzein had in the folds of his shirt and would not produce it, and a new one was brought in, this was also knocked over the fence. The umpire would not allow the old ball in till the new one came back. |
