Text | [Mutual vs. Eckford 6/5/1870] The game between these clubs yesterday resulted in a a tie game, the score was 13 to 13. Inasmuch as there was plenty of time, it is very strange that a decisive innings was not played. The probabilities are, that an opportunity to draw another crowd together at twenty-five cents a head was seen and seized and thereby the public was duped. |
