Text | The disability of the Chicago team in the catcher’s position has been remedied in the wisest manner possible by the engagement of Quinn, of the Franklins, amateur champions of the city. He has made a provisional agreement which will last until the end of the coming Eastern trip, and not unlikely through the season, for Quinn is certainly an excellent catcher–plucky, quiet, quick–and a good batter. |
