Text | [from the Boston correspondent] From the time the three-strike rule was adopted last fall I have felt that it was a mistake, and am stronger in my convictions now than ever before. What does it mean/ less batting instead of more. I don't call that progress. There was more batting last season than for years previous, and the games were more interesting. Now we are going to have the pitcher's game over again. Who wants to see it? I don't believe anyone does. |
