Text | Manager Bancroft and all the members of the Cleveland Base Ball Nine, called on President Arthur this afternoon and were received in the Cabinet room. After a general handshaking the President complimented the nine upon their appearance, and remarked they look like good base ball players, and that good ball players were good citizens. |
