Text | Harry Wright has two pet ideas which are worthy of consideration: First, he would put the pitcher back two feet, and secondly he would have base runners to overrun second and third bases just as first is overrun now. The first would give the batters a chance to display their skill and make the game lively and the latter would prevent many of those painful accidents to players which yearly cripple clubs. |
