Text | [from the Indianapolis correspondent] At a meeting of the board of directors on Monday night it was decided to issue a lady's season ticket, reducing the price from $25 to $16, and making good for all of the championship games. President Brush is in favor of doing everything possible to increase the attendance of the ladies, and feels that while the ticket is very cheap it will pay in the end. It is the better class of people who support base ball in Indianapolis, and the long-headed president seems to think that where the ladies go the men will be sure to follow. |
