Text | President Soden says that the game of six innings played between Boston and Indianapolis would go on record and be counted. “Why,” said he, “it is a common occurrence for teams to stop games to catch trains.” “I don't think a team that is breaking the rules every day, as they do in New York by selling beer on the grounds, will make much of a kick in a case of this kind,” said Director Billings. |
