Text | The Stars went to Waverly on Thursday, to play the Amateurs, of Newark. Circumstances forcing them to play Hicks in their nine, they presented a ball to the Jerseymen, and afterward played an exhibition game, when they polished off the Jerseyites to the tune of 42 to 13. |
