Text | The Hartford Times says: “Harry Wright, Chairman of the Committee on Professional Rules, states that the rule on “calling” balls, as printed in professional books, is incorrect, as the Association adopted the clause that 'all balls which hit the striker while within the lines of his position must be called.'” No such rule was adopted by the Convention nor was it in the section presented by Harry Wright at the Convention. The rules as published are exactly as they were presented to the Convention and adopted. |
