Text | [Gotham vs. Atlantic on ice 1/12/1865] ...the rules of the National Association of necessity varied to suit the circumstances of the case, the old bound rule being observed in order to save time. Inasmuch as the Atlantics did not take a single fair ball on the bound, and their opponents only three in the whole game, but little time was gained by the change. |
