Text | The players that were left financially embarrassed by the failure of Mr. Moxley’s club were helped out of the hole very generously by Mr. Scanlon, who gave them a benefit game at Capital Park on Wednesday, and the money so taken in was given to the players, netting them about $35 or $40 each. |
