Text | ...the Savannah Base Ball Club will give a grand entertainment at the Park tomorrow, consisting of a ball match, foot races, and a tournament by the Sabre Club. The game of ball will be between the Savannahs and Oglethorpes, both clubs appearing in uniform. … The entertainment is given for the benefit of the Savannah Base Ball Club, to aid in defraying their expenses on the projected tour, and it is hoped their friends and the admirers of the “noble game” generally, will turn out and patronize the occasion liberally. |
