Text | [Cincinnati vs. Star of Brooklyn 6/18/1870] The Red Stockings, as in every game of the week, were promptly on hand, and were at their posts in the field at 3 P.M. It was half an hour later, however, before the Stars appeared, as they are in business offices, and they are not able to get off as early, or to be as prompt in their attendance on match days as the professional class. |
