Description | The Adelaide Advertiser ran many articles on baseball in Australia. April 1, 1889 reports that on March 30th, at the south end of the Adelaide Oval, the Norwood team beat South Adelaide 31-6. Both teams were composed of cricketers. Same April 8, 1889 reports that the South Australia club defeated the Victoria club 16-14, on "the East Melbourne grounds." |
