Description | The Denver Post, July 18, 1921, reports the death of two Denver men who were working for the Colorado Fuel & Iron Co. at their mine near Paramaribo, Dutch Guiana (now, Suriname). The two died of heat prostration due to playing baseball in the hot tropic sun. One man died at the mine, the other at the hospital in Paramaribo. |
