Text | A little pop-fly was kn ocked up over Billy Gleason’s head, and Latham, to make one of this grand stand plays, rushed up to and knelt in front of Billy, to catch the ball if the short dropped it. This play irritated Billy, who, after catcher the ball safely, growled out: “Wot the — are yer kneelin’ ter me fer? I kin ketch der ball.” St. |
