Text | The Board of Directors of the Detroit Club has under consideration the feasibility of giving a display of fireworks at Recreation Park on the evening of the glorious Fourth, and making it a gala day. New York will play both morning and afternoon, and it is thought that an open-air concern and fireworks will be a fitting close of the day’s pleasures. That was the programme last Fourth, but rain knocked it in the head. |
