Text | [Chicago vs. Philadelphia 7/28/1875] Of course all the honor of this contest falls on “Josephs,” the amateur pitcher, and the only one who can say an opposing club made no hits on him. His pitching was magnificent, swift and effective, and the rapid and peculiar delivery was kept up all through the game. |
