Text | The novel sight of two match-games being played at the same time on an enclosed field was witnessed last Wednesday, on the Capitoline Grounds, Brooklyn, when the Atlantics and Mutuals played amateur nines, the former defeating the Washingtons by a score of 26 to 9, and the Mutuals beating the Powhattans to the tune of 38 to 1. |
