I would like to know just what the umpire has got to do this season, and if he has to warn the pitcher and striker before he calls balls and strikes. I hope not. I got tired last season of “look out for your next,” etc. “Two balls” or “two strikes” brings both down to business at once. quoting the Brooklyn Union |
