Text | By way of improvement in one thing...we would suggest to Mr. Cammeyer the placing of a board-sign in some conspicuous place which would indicate the score at the close of each inning, such as the telegraph the cricketers have on their grounds, showing the state of the game at the fall of each wicket. This was done in the Cincinnati matches when the Nationals played there, and proved to be very convenient and desirable. |
