The San Diego Union, Sept. 14, 1913, under the headline "Baseball Becoming Popular Sport in Spain," claims that the game is slowly catching on in Spain. It also says that in a "recent game at Tremp, Spain," teams (picked nines) from Tremp and Lerida played, won 16 to 13 by Tremp.
