|Text=<p>The Akron "Summit County Beacon," Sept. 10, 1863 prints a letter from "The Encampment of Camp Cuyahoga" (in Cleveland) saying that on the 25th "the day was spent in idleness and ball playing" because needed quartermaster supplies had not yet arrived.</p>
<p>"While some pickets of the Flying Division were engaged in ball playing this morning, in front of the ruins of the Barnard House, the Rebels commenced throwing shells at them, but did no damage."</p>
