Description

Knickerbocker BBC intra-club game; 7 players on a side

These pages in Vol. 1 of the Knick Game Books offer the following humorous note: "Tucker wore Taylor's shirt which will account for his good score." This offers insight not only into just how early in the game superstition played a role, but that Tucker may have been the subject of gentlemanly chiding, as his three runs that day were the second lowest number on his squad.  Taylor, conversely, scored five, the second highest for his team that day.
