Description

Athletic of Brooklyn's third match of 1868. Their three runs were achieved without any hits, a fact recorded in the New York Clipper and other newspaper coverage of the game. The American Chronicle report on the game makes clear that the Athletic got no hits (bases) in the game, versus Eckford's 45.
