Text | [instructions from Wikoff to the AA umpires] The official score—The score-card agreed upon by the two captains and handed to the umpire before the game begins I s to be regarded as the “score” referred to in the rule giving the order of batting, and this cannot be changed except a player becomes disables by illness or injury, so as to cause him to retire from the contest. |
