Text | [reporting the NL meeting 11/21-22] The Cleveland Club was then granted an unconditional franchise and admitted to full membership. Detroit's resignation was laid over until the spring meeting for formal acceptance, and until that time the League will be composed of nine clubs, as was the case when Pittsburg was admitted, in order to retain control of the players until all the deals are consummated. |
