Description

This field, also known as Satellite fields, was used by the Unique club, an African American club, in 1867.

It was at the corner of Broadway and Rutledge (NY Times, June 15, 1868) and very close to the Union grounds. It was named after Satellite Pond, a winter skating rink. [ba]
