Disbrow, marched to the field to the sound of martial music. Sides were soon chosen, and the play was carried on with a spirit and activity quite remarkable. The hardy Veterans, some of them over eighty years of age, and none under sixty five, seemed to be inspired with renewed energy by the memory of youthfully days and the sports of boyhood, and displayed a degree of skill and activity in the noble game of Base Ball that showed they had once been superior players.
