New York Sunday Mercury, August 20, 1865.

Bob Tholkes (posting to 19CBB list-serve, 3/10/2013), points out that this is the first postgame interview he recalls seeing.  He also notes that Henry Chadwick was likely writing for the Mercury in 1865.
