Description

This was a playoff match for a silver ball trophy to be awarded by the Agricultural Society in Oswego County, NY. Previously, on September 27, 1865, a picked nine composed of players from the two teams had defeated the National BBC of Oswego, NY. The teams therefore played this game for the trophy. The Falley team was victorious and was awarded the silver ball, which is now held by the Baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown, N.Y.
