The Maryville Republican June 27, 1868 contains a letter about how the Hunkidoris of Maryville (or Louisville), TN played the East Tennessee University Club in Knoxville, and how the University Club brought in some ringers.

East Tennessee University is the predecessor to the modern day U. of TN.
