The Chicago Tribune, July 17, 1870 reports that "on Friday" the Baltics of Chicago defeated the DuPage club of Danby, at Danby, 31-25.

The DuPage club is described as the senior champions  of DuPage County. The article gives a box score. The DuPage players are listed as Brown, Cooper (L. C. Cooper of the 1867 Danby Rustics), Kinney, C. C. Hills, Charles Hills, Jones, Seltzer, Newton and Dodge.
