The Atlanta Daily Sun, May 8, 1872 reports that the Osceola of Atlanta lost to the Pstimes of Rome in Rome 58-56, their first loss in 46 games. The newspaper notes that Atlanta had only 7 players available against a full 9, and suggests Rome has little to brag about.
