Description	The (Virginia City) Montana Post, July 24, 1868 reports last Friday, July 17, the Occidental BBC was formed at Justice A. J. Edwards' office. Henry Burdick, Esq. was chosen president. Browning, "Montana Baseball History" p. 22 says the Occidental Base Ball Club of this town was formed in 1868, with Henry Burdick (later the state's attorney general) as president.
