Description	The Antietam Club of Hagerstown Maryland is listed in Peverelly [1866]. It may well have formed earlier. The New York Clipper, Dec. 22, 1866, lists the clubs sending delegates to the national convention, including the Antietam, of Hagerstown, H. Kennedy, Alex Null. Peverelly [page 113] reports that the Antietam Club played the Alert Club of Cumberland MD in May 1866. See also Chambersburg Public Weekly Opinion, July 26, 1870
