Description | The Oak Park Vindicator, June 11, 1897 reports that on June 5th the Berwyn Juniors BBC defeated the Riverside Cracker jacks 29-16 at Riverside. The Berwyns will play in Berwyn June 12th. Berwyn was a subdivision of Cicero (sometimes named LaVergne) until it broke away from Cicero and became an incorporated town in 1908. It had 5,841 residents in 1910. |
