Description

"The young men of the Seminary have formed a Base Ball Club. They are fully organized. J.A. Proctor; President; H. Nichols, Vice President; A. Smith, Secretary; R.K. Sheldon, Treasurer; W. Redington, E.L. Miner, H.C. Harrison, Directors. The club is known as the Haskell Base Ball Club, and is under efficient drill an hour or two every evening. This, with the Gymnasium Class under thorough drill and full costume, adds new and lively attractions to the old Seminary park." - Rutland Weekly Herald
