The Kankakee Gazette, July 28, 1870, reports that the Rockville club played a 1st nine/2nd nine intrasquad game in Kankakee Saturday last, when the Kankakee team didn't show up for their scheduled match. Kankakee and Rockville played a game in 1868. See Kankakee Gazette, Sept. 3, 1868 Rockville is a township in Kankakee County, northwest of the city of Kankakee.
