Text	Recreation Park, at Twenty-fourth and Ridge avenue, so long occupied by the Philadelphia Base Ball Club, has undergone a complete transformation and will hereafter be devoted entirely to winter sports. It will be opened to the public to-day for the first time under the auspices of the Philadelphia Toboggan Association, of which J. F. Bernard is the manager. ... Besides tobogganing the main portion of the ground is to be devoted to skating. The ground will not be flooded, but ice is to be formed by a new process of sprinkling. As soon as the weather if favorable there will be base ball and polo matches played on skates. Thomas Pratt, so well known from his long connection with the Philadelphia Club, is to have charge of all the sports except tobogganing.
