Text	Counselors J. M. Vanderslice, Alfred Moore and John G. Johnson on May 10, in Philadelphia, filed three bills in equity against Albert Myers and the Philadelphia Ball Club (the National League), Samuel L. Thompson, and the Philadelphia Ball Clubs, and against John Clements. The Players' National League Base Ball Club of Philadelphia, is the plaintiff in each case. In the cases in which Myers and Thompson and the Philadelphia Base Ball Club, Limited, are defendants, the court is asked that Thompson and Myers be restrained from playing base ball or giving services as base ball players for the season of 1890 to any corporation, club, or organization other than the plaintiff, and that the Philadelphia Base Ball Club, Limited, be restrained from interfering with Thompson or Myers until January, 1891.
