Text | The worthy Superintendent of the Coney Island Railroad Company, Frank Quevedo, Esq., formerly of the Pastime club, has made arrangements to prepare an excellent ball ground at Coney Island... The location of a ball ground on the Island was suggested to the Company when they first began to run their line, but it is only this season that the idea has been practically carried out. The ground adjoins the depot, and is sufficiently large to admit of four or five thousand people witnessing a game. |
