Text | President Newberger has resigned the helm of the Indianapolis club to John T. Brush, a prominent merchant, who will fill the place temporarily. Mr. Newberger gave as a reason that the work interfered with his business, but the probability is the late disgraceful row in which Arundel, Glasscock and Denny played the start parts, so disgusted him that he would no longer continue at the head of an organization containing such brutal material. |
