Text | [from answers to correspondents] When the batsman calls for a low ball and strikes at a high one, I claim that he loses his privilege for that time at the bat and notify the pitcher accordingly that a ball delivered over the home plate, between the knee and shoulder, will be considered a fair aball and so decided; vice versa, a batsman calling for a high ball and striking at a low one should be ruled in the same way. Am I right? ... Yes. |
