Text | Eckford vs. Atlantic—The match between these Clubs will be played to-day on the Union grounds, and if the interest felt in it by the community may be taken as a criterion, it will prove a decided success. The proceeds derived from the entrance fee are to be devoted to the aid of the U.S. Sanitary Committee, and though small (only 10 cents), it is hoped, through the patriotism and humanity of the public, it will amount to a large sum. |
